How manual verification scales

Every listing is reviewed by a human before publication. That claim is capacity-bound on purpose: our growth is limited by how much we can actually check, not the other way round.

The limits we hold ourselves to

• Weekly review throughput — we publish only as many new listings per week as reviewers can check by hand. Excess demand lengthens the queue; it does not lower the standard.
• Per-corridor caps — each corridor caps new live listings until verification capacity for that corridor grows. Depth beats breadth.
• Re-verification cadence — verification points decay over 90 days, and re-checks are scheduled before decay completes.
• Human sign-off — automated plausibility checks triage and flag, but no listing goes live on an automated pass alone.

What we will never do to go faster

• Bulk-import scraped listings to fill a thin category or corridor.
• Auto-approve a backlog to hit a launch date.
• Let a paid plan skip, shorten, or reorder the verification queue.
• Mark a listing verified on self-declared evidence alone.
